An RSS feed is like a little newsboy that runs into the street and shouts 'LATEST EDITION! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!' and then lists off the headlines. In our case, our feed notifies subscribers to our feed that we've updated.

To receive a feed, you need a feed reader. There are online ones, such as bloglines.com, too many downloadable programs available to list here, and most current browsers allow you to receive feeds right through your browser, usually by clicking on the icon pictured above in your URL bar.
